About the Porsche 944

The first of the ‘real’ Porsche 944’s. 2nd half 1985 and is recognised as the best balanced sports car of its era. Not a stop-light dragster but an extremely competent long distance tourer with truly fantastic handling. Easy to drive (too fast!) and a load of fun at anytime. Mileage is reasonable and won’t break the bank though some major services are not cheap. Front engine, rear gearbox just to be different! This model has the all alloy front and rear control arms.
